The free event on Saturday 5 November 2016 is provided by Cambridge City Council and organised by Cambridge Live to create a safe environment for the people of Cambridge to celebrate Bonfire night.
About 25,000 -30,000 people attend. Entrance is free, though contributions from the public, businesses and the local community towards the cost of the event are essential. Whilst the Council provide considerable funding and despite donations from businesses, it is not enough money to pay for all the costs so we are dependent on donations from the public. You are helping to collect money towards the cost of the display.No specific previous experience necessary, we are just looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, and positive people who are able to engage with the general public and help raise funds for this popular event!
